| Great start and decent OP/ED. The action picks up right where they left off and even Gieve is shown again working in the background. A bit unusual that the Queen would plead for Arslan back (a possible ruse). It's also a bit worrying that this would only have 8 episodes, but I'm somewhat convinced I'll be satisfied. |

| Man I'm so hyped for this season (Why do you have to be so short!?). There's so much going on, Arslan's father breaking out of prison like that was shocking as fuck. Best part of the episode was Gieve playing keep away with Silver Mask. I love how main cast members are badass enough to troll the main villain and live through it. |

| Ah, Elam. You're just as gay as I remember you. Never change and fight on. Gieve going up against the main antagonist was hilarious. I'm glad he's back but I can't wait until he's back with Arslan and the others. Super excited about this season, despite it being so short. |
| Looks like this season is off to a great start. Shame that it will be pretty short though. The fight between Gieve and Silvermask was nice, and shows that Gieve is pretty strong. I'm also curious about what will the king do next after breaking out. |

| Fuck that was good. Like, all of it. Animation, direction, script, all leagues better than the first season that had great moments but kind of lost its spunk by the end. Let's hope this keeps on rolling like this. Andragoras is a goddamn MAN. lol at 'Hilmes', I'm not even surprised by this shit anymore. |

The focus has turned toward some legendary sword (cliche as fuck) that wasnt important until now. Andragoras escaping those chains was pretty bs, but I do think its interesting how hes now back in the game again. -Arslan's party; Hermes; Lucitanian King; Guiscard; Bodin; Shindura; Turan; and now Andragoras It's not Heremes, it's Hilmes/Hirmes. Hermes was a big fuck up from Funi at the first season. |
| I suprisingly missed Daryun's "Denka!". And I forgot but did Arslan joined this type of heavy battles before? maybe i should re watched some episodes in S1 to check but love his "Yashasuiin!". He looks like a legitimate leader and king candidate now. A lot of things has happened and can't wait for more episodes. Too bad we only have 8. Anyway, glad Arslan Senki is back!!! |

| I really enjoyed season 1, but I think this episode was an improvement in every way. It looks better, sounds better, and is full of action and meaningful dialogue. Considering half of this episode was to reintroduce every single character, I thought they handled every character (maybe except Farangis) very effectively. You got just enough of every character that they are fully fleshed out with personality, motivation, and direction moving forward. If anyone is new or forgetful coming to this series, there is enough here to jump right in without too much confusion. As everyone has said, I really enjoyed how fast, but well paced this was. Consistently great and satisfying all the way through. For a story as grand as this and as grand as its title implies, this series finally feels like a true epic, in every sense of the word. That was something you couldn't say for much of the first season. Very pleasantly surprised. |

| So Turan attacks Peshawar while Arslan was about to attack Ecbatana which forces them to return back to where they set off from. It was expected that more neighbors would take advantage of Lusitania's attack and here Turan just ruined Arslan's plans to take back Ecbatana. Elsewhere, Gieve, Hermes, and Bodin are vying for some legendary sword which will help in their accession to the throne. Three parties fighting for one object – two of them battle it out and the third makes away with the prize. And Andragoras is one hell of a monster. He breaks free just when Guiscard arrives to question him about Hermes. Guiscard is taken hostage and Andragoras sits on the throne. And now we're about to get some stuff about Arslan. Arslan is Tahamine's child and not Andragoras' which means that Arslan isn't of royal blood. Which means that Hermes is more deserving than Arslan between the two. But that probably wouldn't stop Arslan from trying to take the throne himself. Also, the new outfits shown in the OP and ED are quite good (save for Arslan's shorts), especially Farangis and Alfreed's. |

| Tbh the first season was fun and by far the best thing about it was the characters as well as some of the epic fights (even if there is so dodgy cg now and then) but this second season has really peaked my interest again and is reminding me about whats awesome in this show maybe its because they have a smaller episode count so more money to spend on few episodes so super awesome quality but i just like the way its going version super engrossing and rich in badassery haha cant wait for more :D |
| Nice episode. Fast paced. A lot happened that still had been covered by the old OVA. I was looking forwart to Andragoras breaking free (he is badass) and the Gieve vs. Hermes. If I remember correctly the thing with the sword was different in the old OVA. (They lost it instead getting it stolen from them by Bodins guys.) |

| WOW, so many things happening at once. So I think I get the picture. Basically Angragoras wanted Tahamine. She refused, so he took her son which I guess is Arslan, and then when she became "his queen" was Arslan allowed to "go back". I mean he was being raised far away so sum of factors makes all of this fit perfectly. This basically confirms Arslan is not of royal blood, but it to a lesser degree still a noble through "marriage". Interesting to see that Bodin and heck even Andragoras are back into the game. So many parties at once acting with each other. Andragoras is likely gonna be an enemy of Arslan and based on the opening and ending it seems Narsus is gonna meet his equal. I heard the novels are gonna end with the next volume. I know this series is based on Arakawa's adaptation but hopefully, we get to see an animated end for this series. |

| YASS THE SERIES IS BACK!!! I can't believe it, I totally forgot it was due this season :p This first episode ROCKED! I loved it, nice action, I somehow got to remember what happened in the last episode from last season, nice OP too! Getting black flag feelings, this series is starting off with a 8/10 for me. |

| Glad to have Arslan back but I'm sad it's only 8 episodes. The sword seems kind of random but I'll roll with it I guess. Andragoras is GAR as fuck though. Definitely did not expect that. |

| yessss arslan senki is back \o/. This show is so good. This first episode was amazing. i really need to know who is the son of the queen. To me is clear that her kid is not arslan. And my favorite character elam continues so cute. I love his interaction with arslan ^^ |
| Wait, wait, so in the 1st ep of this 2nd season, Andragoras takes back Eckbatana all by himself? Say what you will about him, but this guy's a one man army. Things have taken an interesting turn from the get-go of this season. Curios to see what Arslan & crew have to say when they get there. |

| Damn, Andragoras, what a BAMF. We knew he'd be escaping from the PVs but he's already taken back the city!? Hot damn. I like how, as a king, he's not so prideful that he wouldn't learn something like that chain combat from slaves as long as it's totally badass. Best girl is so cute when she's being shy. We all know what you're really thinking. I was really hoping she'd be with Arslan's party going forward, though. But at least we know something's gonna happen between them based on the ED. Go ArslanxEstelle! And is the Queen talking about Arslan, or someone else? I had thought she didn't see to care about him that much. |

When Tahamine mentioned a child, it wasn't Arslan, was it? Arslan does look like her but who knows if she's his birth mother. And if she's his mother, I'd guess that Andragoras isn't his father. I have another theory and that Tahamine was maybe talking about Hermes but maybe this is so far-fetched. I just can't see her as Hermes's mother. Another thing that confused me and that is when Andragoras told Guiscard that Hermes is dead. If he is, then who is Silvermask? A lot of mysteries and this is one of things I love about this series. I hope Bodin gets killed and soon. I hate him so much. No it's basically made clear Arslan is in no way related to Tahamine. From the sound of things Tahamine isn't even from Pars as Andragoras said he took her presumptuously from a battle he won which would mean most likely she was pregnant at the time and that Andragoras did something with the child after he/she was born most likely to keep Tahamine from running away or whatever since basically she'll never leave him or escape now that Andragoras is the only one who knows where her child is. |
